Controlled spatial bright soliton emission from a nonlinear waveguide.
This paper presents a numerical analysis that demonstrates that soliton emission from a nonlinear waveguide can be controlled efficiently by applying the principle of a scanner, and when combined with a soliton coupler mechanism yields an advanced device - the three-waveguide soliton coupler.
