Abstract

Reaction of 1 equiv. of PhNCO with [MoO2(edtc)2] leads to the isolation of [Mo(NPh)(S2)(edtc)2] formed as a result of oxo substitution and a double sulfur-carbon bond cleavage of the dithiocarbamate; a second product is dimeric (MoO(edtc)(mu-NPh)]2.
