Abstract

The syntheses of the compounds [K(18-crown-6)][Bi{Co(CO)(4)}(4)] (1c) and [PPN][Bi{Co(CO)(4)}(4)] (1d) (PPN=Ph(3)PNPPh(3)) are described together with the X-ray crystal structure of 1c. Compound 1c crystallises in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 11.4295(6), b = 23.5236(13), c = 30.9806(22) Angstrom A. Final R = 0.0345, R(w)(2) = 0.0720.
