Abstract

The effect of field annealing on the zero-field distribution of moment directions in amorphous Fe78Si9B13 has been studied by Mossbauer spectroscopy. In all cases the moments are distributed at an angle with respect to the ribbon plane and normal. We propose an explanation in terms of anisotropy and exchange.
