Full text not available from this repository.

This is a series of five episodes (one hour each) produced by Yap Films and broadcast by Discovery Channel in 2005. It depicts some First World War battles, and follows the journey of discovery from five excavations conducted in Belgium and France to the identification of the human remains and associated objects encountered during these excavations. The conservation team at the Institute of Archaeology worked in collaboration with a team of historians, archaeologists and film-makers and performed investigative conservation work on eighty-four objects which were associated with the unidentified human remains (thought to be of soldiers killed in battles between 1914 and 1918). Because of the work conducted at the Institute of Archaeology the team was able to identify three soldiers.
