Abstract
This report summarises the findings of two, more detailed reports, aiming to assess the impacts of highway capacity reduction. The first provided an assessment of the evidence on what has happened when road-space for cars has been reduced, and reused for bus lanes, cycle lanes or pedestrians instead. The second looks at the modelling implications of reducing road space for cars
