Abstract
In this paper Time-domain Optical Tomography is considered in the probabilistic interpretation, in the sense that the times of arrival of photons are considered as random variables with a deterministic probability density function (PDF). Such a PDF can be described by a small number of moments, which leads to an efficient reconstruction scheme wherein only the moments and their spatial sensitivities are computed. Examples of 3D reconstructions of absorption and scattering simulations are shown.
