Abstract

This paper provides an overview of a three-year research and development project whichaimed to embed the global dimension across initial teacher education in one institution. Ithighlights some of the facilitators and barriers to embedding the global dimension on the PGCE using a subject-based approach. In particular it focuses on ITE tutors’ motivations toengage with the global dimension.
