Abstract

Publication of the inscription upon UCL Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology amphora UC 32267, a Coptic account of wine, to be dated to around the 8th century Common Era. An appendix by Donald M. Bailey describes the amphora itself, and cites a number of publications of comparable vessels.
