Abstract

The reaction of pyrazine with the ruthenium(IV) bis-ally] dimer [(eta-3:eta-3-C10H16)RuCl(mu-Cl)]2 gives the bridged binuclear complex [{(eta-3:eta-3-C10H16)RuCl2}2(mu-C4H4N2)] in high yield. The complex has been characterised by H-1 NMR spectroscopy and by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study.
