Performance of radio-over-fibre broadband access in the presence of interferometric noise.

The impact of interferometric noise in radio-over-fiber delivery networks was examined. Further, bit error rate for the transmission of quadrature amplitude modulation QAM) was determined. It was shown that QAM transmission offers an improvement in BER over a standard binary channel, for a normalized received amplitude signal.
