Abstract

This paper presents experimental results of a novel method for residual dispersion monitoring in 40Gbit/s systems. The measurement time of this implementation is in the order of 10 mu s, making this scheme applicable to dynamically reconfigurable burst networks. (C) 2006 Optical Society of America.
