Abstract
Realisation of a set of algorithms to develop low distortion coordinate systems on large quasi-linear engineering projects, with the main application being railways. Adopted as the standard in the UK. Available as stand-alone software or integrated into other systems such as SnakeGrid Transformer or built into GNSS receivers (e.g. Trimble).
