Abstract

The feasibility of a colorless coherent PON operating at 10 Gbit/s is verified using monolithically integrated C-band tunable lasers as sources for the signal and local oscillator. Using parallel digital postprocessing, a sensitivity below -36 dBm is demonstrated. © 2012 OSA.
