Abstract

Discusses the first interview included in the weekly Izraelita (Warsaw). Theodor Herzl (1860-1904) was interviewed by Nahum Sokolow (1859-1936), the editor of Izraelita and later Zionist leader, during the First Zionist Congress in Basel in 1897.
