Abstract

Expands the disaggregated representation of retail models, providing a finer categorisation of shop types, incorporates a greater variety of effects in the attractiveness term, and investigates supply-side costs. Shows how to build a spatial interaction model of consumer utilisation, explores the supply side dynamics, and presents examples. Then speculates on the range of equilibrium solutions to the model and shows the model's application.-after Author
