Abstract
Book description: The present volume represents the most substantial contribution published in any language on the modern history of British-Hungarian relations. Essays include studies of diplomacy, literature, the British press and public opinion, military policy, espionage, law and linguistics. There is a particular concentration of essays on 1848, the treaty of Trianon and its revision, the British Foreign Office, C.A. Macartney and R.W. Seton-Watson, and the Revolution of 1956.
