Abstract
The addition of nucleophiles X(-) (X = H, D, OH, CN) to the complex cation [Ru(eta(6)-C6H6)(Pz(3)BH)](+) proceeds smoothly to give the neutral cyclohexadienyl compounds [Ru(eta(5)-C(6)H(6)X)(Pz(3)BH)] which are identified by NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction (for X = CN).
