Abstract
17 June 2003 This paper explores the information needs of doctors and their IT Skills. This is set in the context of national investment in healthcare information system. It reviews the ways in which information and communication technologies are being used to support clinical education and training, in particular the ways in which the web is being used. It reviews web based resources which are likely to be of value to geriatricians. It concludes with some ideas about the ways in which technolgies such as Personal Digital Assistants might support on-the job learning and life long learning.
